 The
ABAC Bangla School meets every
Sunday (except pre-announced holidays), between
2:30 PM and 5:00 PM. The classes meet in two separate
groups -- for beginners and advanced students.
In addition, instructions are customized to the
individual student's capabilities and aptitude.
In addition to teaching reading and writing in
Bengali, the school also delivers instructions
on recitation of Bengali poetry, singing of Bengali
songs, and the practice of traditional and classical
dances.
In an effort to go beyond simply teaching children
how to read and write in Bengali, the ABAC Bangla
School is working on compiling a library of children's
Bengali literature, hoping to introduce the children
to the rich arena of Bengali literature for children
and adolescents.
 The
ABAC Bangla school thrives on excellent on-stage
performances by its students on a regular basis.
At least two major annual shows and numerous small
gatherings allow the students to display their
acquired skills to their parents and the community
at large.
